Anna Moreno is based between Barcelona and The Hague. She graduated in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona in 2007.
Her work has been shown in solo exhibitions such as D'Ahir d'Abans d'Ahir... (Blueproject Foundation, Barcelona), An Awkward Game (1646, The Hague), The Whole World Will be Singing (HIAP, Helsinki), The Barnum Effect (Sala d'Arcs 2014, NauEstruch 2011, both in Spain) and Learn Something Useful (bb15 Raum für Gegenwartskunst, Linz, Austria in 2011) and several group exhibitions at an international level such as Lo que ha de venir ya ha llegado (CAAC Seville), Rebel City (ADN Platform, Barcelona), Definite Motion (Generator Projects, Dundee), Qué hay de nuevo, viejo? (Can Felipa, Barcelona) and The Inner Perimeter (French Institute Barcelona).
Her work often consists in events like Radical Colophon at SF MOMA (San Francisco, USA), W139 (Amsterdam) and SASG (Seoul, Korea); and performances like the ones at BINK36, Stroom den Haag (both in The Hague), El Graner (Barcelona, Spain), and NauEstruch (Sabadell, Spain).
She has done residencies at HIAP (Helsinki, Finland), Wander (The Hague, The Netherlands), Hangar Production (Barcelona, Spain), Seoul Art Space Geumcheon (Seoul, South Korea), Atelierhaus Salzamt (Linz, Austria), and Cittadellarte-Fondazione Pistoletto (Biella, Italy). She has been awarded grants from Stroom den Haag, the Catalan Council for the Culture and the Arts (Catalonia, Spain) and Generaciones 2014 (Cajamadrid, Spain).
She teaches Artistic Research at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and sometimes elsewhere, giving lectures, organizing reading groups or workshops. She is a founding member of HELICOPTER, a new artists initiative based in The Hague.
