OTSEFINAM: Or how to activate an edition
2013 - 2016

Every year, I invited artist Antoni Hervàs to my class in The Royal Academy of Art in The Hague as part of my program of Artistic Research, to develop a workshop around fanzines and their expansive capabilities.

As a consequence of the experimental and collective process that took place during two intensive days in the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, Antoni Hervàs and I proposed a final event as the physical place where to move from paper to action, where we could share and test pontential conclusions in their most fragile state with the students. We made a party out of the act of distribution.

As an example: "No ink anymore" (title proposed by the students) took place in TENT (Rotterdam) in 2016, We were invited by TENT's director Mariette Dölle to respond to the current exhibition curated by Manuel Segade: Motion, Labor, Machinery. No ink anymore was a public and performative event Antoni Hervàs and I curated, and realised with my students from the KABK, that lasted only one evening, including build-up and build-down.
